Issued by Dan Dee Potato Chips in 1954, these cards are extremely condition-sensitive, the waxy coating of the cards not fending off the potato chip grease that so often stains the cards. A tough regional issue that is a challenge to complete, the set features a number of Hall of Famers, the card of Duke Snider joining that of Mickey Mantle as the two keys. This example has been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, a well-centered and sharp example with lightly-touched bottom corners. Despite the popularity of the issue, just 11 examples have graded higher than this. A highly-coveted card from one of the most popular regionals of the era.
