Outstanding, high-grade card from the beautiful art deco Diamond Stars issue, certainly one of the keys to the set. Underrated due to the lack of a Ruth or Gehrig, the Diamond Stars issue has never reached the notoriety or demand of the Goudey counterparts of 1933 and 1934, but the set is colorful and well-designed, with an excellent player assortment. This example is clean and sharp, centered slightly to the left, though eye appeal more than compensates.
