In many ways, the phenomenal growth in the hobby during 2020 and 2021 was driven by the rookie card of Michael Jordan.  A Netflix special, combined with a renewed interest in the hobby created an intense interest in Jordan rookies, with GEM MINT examples topping at at nearly three-quarters of a million dollars at auction before finally softening.  More affordable grade examples, however, continue their growth, as sharp NM and NM-MT cards are highly desirable while teetering on the edge of affordability.

This example has been graded NM 7 by PSA, a recent submission that comes from outside the hobby.  Well-centered and sharp, a very light touch at the lower-left corner has resulted in whiteness at the extreme tim of the corner, likely responsible for the grade.  An outstanding example of a widely-coveted card.
