Clean and well-centered example graded FR 1.5 due to the year 1920 written lightly in pencil in the top-left corner of the card to the side of Carey's face. Otherwise strong and clean with an outstanding image. This is a particularly difficult issue to locate a very desirable card type that is among the tougher of the different E121 variants. The Henry Johnson stamp on the reverse is as is typical with this issue applied haphazardly some of the stamp extending off the edge of the card. Despite this the stamp is reasonably legible in comparison with others from the issue some minor staining also visible on the reverse.
