Enormous 1959 advertising poster featuring the Baltimore Orioles as endorsed by Gunther Beer. The Gunther endorsement appears in the background in the form of a sign atop the scoreboard; another version of this poster exists without the Gunther ad in the background. Players are identified at the bottom of the poster and includes Hall of Famers Hoyt Wilhelm and Brooks Robinson. Handsomely matted and framed to a gigantic size of approximately 41 1/2" x 31" the poster presents extremely well but a close inspection reveals vertical wrinkling likely where it was rolled for storage. Obviously the matting and framing prevents an examination of the edges and reverse. However the presentation is tremendous a very significant piece a large-format team photo poster featuring a young Brooks Robinson. It should be noted that due to the bulk of the piece we expect shipping charges will be substantial.
