Attractive photo supplement featuring the National League champion Brooklyn Dodgers as issued on February 15 1942 by the New York Sunday News. Framed in a vintage frame to a finished size of approximately 23 1/2" x 16" the photo was issued in advance of Spring Training in Havana Cuba noting that most of the team members would appear on the Dodgers roster for the upcoming season. Among those players appearing in the photo is Pee Wee Reese (HOF) Pete Reiser Leo Durocher (HOF) Charlie Dressen Mickey Owen Ducky Medwick (HOF) Dolph Camilli Herman Franks Augie Galan and Dixie Walker. The frame prevents us from examining the edges and reverse and as a result we are uncertain if the photo itself is mounted printed on cardboard or simply newspring though we can see the faint crease from a fold down the center suggesting it is mounted newsprint. SOme water staining is visible along the bottom notable in the lower-right corner and along the border in the lower left.
