Outstanding printer's proof from the 1933 Goudey issue featuring Hall of Famer Eddie Collins. Printer's proofs from the 1933 Goudey issue occasionally find their way to auction many originating from a group of two 24-card sheets discovered in the 1980s that were professionally cut into pairs. The printer's poroofs are from a variety of stages in the production process. The proof card here is missing what appears to be a dark blue ink pass as Collins' name in the upper-left is missing as is some richness in the darker tones of the card. The overall presentation particularly given the professional nature of the cut is excellent the card well-centered and strong. A very rare anomaly from the popular 1933 issue.
