Collector-grade card of shortstop Preston "Legs" Martin of the Spartanburg (SC) Spartans of the Class D Carolina Association. In the midst of a 7-year career that would only see him rise above the Class D level for a brief stretch in 1910 the light-hitting shortstop never batted above .266 in Class D ball yet still has the honor of being immortalized on this cardboard classic from the rare and extremely desirable T209 issue. Surface wear is evident on the front breaking the surface of the card in multiple areas and yet the presentation still remains strong for the grade.
