Collection of three tough R414-1 Bazooka wrappers containing illustrations by famed cartoonist Willard Mullin perhaps best known for his creation of the Brooklyn Dodgers "Bum" character. While none of the three wrappers featured here portray baseball illustrations there were both baseball and non-baseball illustrations printed on the inside of the gum wrappers that were distributed in early 1950. The gum sold for a penny each shiny foil package measuring approximately 2" x 2 7/8". These three wrappers have been trimmed down somewhat from their original size but still present well with small fractions of the wrapper edge removed. As is the case with all the known examples of these wrappers there is significant creasing and folding evident from being wrapped around the gum. Three wrappers total.
