Interesting 6" x 10 3/4" paper advertising flier for The Jackie Robinson Story premiering on July 14 at the Fox Uptown Theatre in Los Angeles. The theater was built in 1925 and demolished in 1963 and is now the site of a Galleria Market. The design of the flier is identical to that of the much larger highly desirable movie poster advertising the film. The flier which was folded into thirds and despite being flattened out long ago still bears the creases does exhibit some wear including paper loss on the edges (at the fold areas). Most notable howver is significant dark writing on the reverse in colored ink which does bleed through to the front. Still an infrequently-seen Jackie Robinson collectible.
I have one to sell!
