Attractive 1924 official Redland Field scorecard lightly scored in pencil from a game against the Boston Braves. Though the lightness of the scoring prevents us from identifying the game but the Braves' five-run third suggests that the scorecard is from the May 17 game an 8-4 loss to the Braves. Casey Stengel played right field for Boston Dave Bancroft drove in two runs with three hits for the Braves and Hall of Famer Ed Roush went 1-for-4 for Cincinnati. Pitchers were Benton and Benton - Larry for Boston Rube for Cincinnati. The scorecard boasts strong appearance some mild soiling and staining related to age and use the scorecard intact.
