Few cards in the hobby have been as consistently hot as the "Green Background" T206 Cobb; it seems that with each sale a new record is set. Such astronomical prices are quickly rendering attractive midgrade specimens unaffordable and rarely does an example hit the market which appears stronger than the assigned grade. Such is the case with this specimen a bright clean and well-centered example the corners exhibiting light wear but certainly wear we have seen at the EX level. Image quality is strong a close inspection revealing a very light wrinkle at the bottom-left corner and some extremely light surface wear above Cobb's right shoulder. The color and print registration are strong a tremendous example of one of the most highly-prized in the entire T206 issue easily one of the keys to the set.
