The #1 card from the immensely popular multi-sport Goudey issue featuring Ty Cobb in what appears to be a late-career Philadelphia Athletics unform. The card was issued post-retirement an early example of a "tribute card" that despite its late issue is still prized among Cobb collectors. Well-centered with a clean surface a light fish-eye in the red banner at the top of the card with lightly-worn corners that speak to honest wear. A tremendous card from a highly desirable issue.
