One of the most visually-pleasing of all Babe Ruth's cards and the only example of the Babe's four cards in the issue drawing its image from a different original source photo. The "Green Ruth" is notoriously found with centering issues; the presence of creamy clean borders on all four sides of the card image in and of itself almost qualifies this example as "well-centered." The card image is centered to the left though well-centered top-to-bottom. A very light mark at the top left edge is visible with some light and honest corner wear consistent with the grade. Ruth's Goudey issues have skyrocketed as of late; this is as attractive a midgrade example as we have handled.
