Interesting collection of yearbooks from defunct or expansion teams in their inaugural seasons. Collection includes: 1) 1948 St. Louis Browns Sketch Book: Appears more like a media guide than a yearbook with a plain orange cardstock cover bound at the top with a metal binding clip through two hole-punches. The interior pages are simple typewritten pages with team and player biographical and statistical data. VG condition with some overall wear. 2) 1950 St. Louis Browns Sketchbook: A step above the 1948 offering this is bound with a plastic or resin coil and contains typewritten statistical and biographical data. The cover exhibits wear creasing and a small edge tear at the top along with chipping to the green cover. Interior pages exhibit wear particularly at the edges and corners. 3) 1951 St. Louis Browns Baseball Book: More of a traditional yearbook with photos and player data on the various team members. VG condition with some odd discoloration to the cover likely from age or exposure to paper. 4) 1952 St. Louis Browns Sketch Book: VG condition with wear at the cover and spine. 5) 1949 Padre Parade: Publication chronicling the history of baseball in San Diego and the PCL with full history of the team through 1948. GOOD condition with some creasing on the cover and wear near the spine along with edge and corner wear from use. 6) 1962 Houston Colt .45s Baseball Yearbook: VG/EX condition with wear at the spine. 7) 1964 Houston Colt .45s Yearbook: Handheld yearbook measuring 4 1/2" x 7". VG/EX condition with surface soiling. 8) 1969 Seattle Pilots Yearbook: First and last yearbook from this "one and done" franchise that included Jim Bouton as he chronicled the team for the book Ball Four. EX appearance with some surface wear on the back cover. 9) 1970 Kansas City Royals Inaugural Yearbook: EX condition with mild surface wear. 10) 1970 Milwaukee Brewers Inaugural Yearbook: VG/EX condition with some wear along the right edge appears stronger. 11) 1977 Toronto Blue Jays Scorebook Magazine (2): Pair of team magazines one with the cover devoted to the other American League expansion franchise the Seattle Mariners. VG and VG/EX conditions respectively. 12 publications total.
