Colorful pair of cardboard advertising displays promoting Mothers Cookies baseball card issues from the 1980s. Each display measures approximately 18" x 27" and features two players (or coaches) from the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants. Full-color photos display extremely well in apparent EX condition. Collection includes the following: 1) 1983 Poster: Featuring managers Steve Boros and Frank Robinson (HOF) holding handfuls of 1983 Mother's Cookies A's and Giants cards underneath the headline "Bay Area Double Play." The top and bottom of the posters have die-cut areas that are scored for folding or easy display. 2) 1986 Poster: Featuring young stars Jose Canseco and Will Clark posed with handfuls of that season's cards. The poster has been signed in black Sharpie by both Canseco and Clark (signatures have not been authenticated but were likely signed in person for collector Ted Patterson a Baltimore Orioles broadcaster at the time). Apparent EX condition with some very mild edge wear. Two posters total.
