Beatufiul Devon size 7 Boston Red Sox cap attributed by collector Ted Patterson to Red Sox Hall of Fame outfielder Carl Yastrzemski. Displayed by Ted along with the Yastrzemski jersey graded A10 by MEARS and offered in our spring 2020 auction Patterson advised us that the jersey and cap were obtained at the same time directly from Yaz. The cap is unquestionably official and game-worn though the conclusion that MEARS drew was that they could not confirm wear by Yaz because their estimation is that the number 8 written under the brim was applied at the same time as Yastrzemski applied the signature. Regardless a tremendous cap a beautiful display quite likely worn by Carl Yastrzemski.
