Spectacular bright red felt pennant for the 1959 All-Star game in Los Angeles the second of two All-Star games that were scheduled this season to help aid the ballplayers' pension fund. The bright red pennant lists the members of the 1959 American League team including future Hall of Famers Hoyt Wilhelm Yogi Berra Whitey Ford Jim Bunning Nellie Fox Harmon Killebrew Luis Aparicio Al Kaline Mickey Mantle Ted Williams and Casy Stengel. Condition appears strong with some wear at close inspection including some staining and fraying along the bottom edge and wrinkling down the center. Otherwise quite strong a very rare and desirable pennant.
