I have one to sell!
The 1954 baseball season was a magical one for Cleveland fans right up until the World Series. In the midst of their team's record-breaking season the All-Star game was hosted in their city as evidenced by this rare felt pennant from the game. This very rare pennant promotes just the American League teams and players each of the team names appearing in stylized pennants around the image of Cleveland's stadium. Names of the players in the starting lineup appear in a scroll to the left edge of the pennant. Wear is evident here most notably in the form of a tear along the top edge near the tip and some fading cracking and light staining in the text along the right. This appears to be a seldom-seen six-tassel pennant; the three at the bottom are intact but one of the top ones is missing a second torn in half. Otherwise a strong rare pennant.
