I have one to sell!
Attractive and seldom-seen phantom pennant celebrating the 1949 Boston Red Sox' American League Championship victory. The team of course finished one game behind the Yankees in the American League during an incredible season in which Ted Williams received the Most Valuable Player award. Full-sized pennant is constructed of bold red felt with white graphics listing the team's key players Hall of Fame outfielder Ted Williams at the top and Hall of Fame manager (and former Yankees skipper) Joe McCarthy listed at the bottom. Strong eye appeal with some apparent pressed-out wrinkles here and there along with small pinholes at the top and bottom of the white reinforcements.
