Mounted to a 5"" x 6" cardboard mount photo of Ira Thomas of the Yankees dating to 1906. The photo is in outstanding shape the mount having absorbed some wear particularly at the corners and a crease at the lower-right corner. "Photo by Doc Rollins" is stamped in the lower-left corner of the photo - an identical stamp incidentally appears in the body of the 1907 Detroit Tigers team photo featured elsewhere in this auction. An attractive early cabinet taken during one of the Highlanders' earliest seasons.
