Interesting collection of beer coasters and brewery-produced scorebooksdating from the 1930s to the 1950s (not 1940s as indicated in our printed catalog). Collection includes the following: 1) Fort Pitt Baseball Scorecard: likely dating to 1952 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" scorebook contains multiple pages of blank scorecards the last page containing baseball batting leaders through 1951. GOOD condition with toning and chipping at the edges a minor edge crease at the lower-right and a notch of missing paper along the bottom edge. 2) 1948 Standard Brewing "Jimmy Dudley's Baseball Reference and Scoring Book: 7" x 4 1/4" book containing blank scorecards and information about the 1948 Cleveland Indians including player photos (including a very fresh Larry Doby). Apparent EX condition with a slight notch at the bottom of the spine. 3) 1930s Piel's Beer Bill Terry Coaster: 4 1/4" in diameter coaster advertising Piel's Beer bearing the likeness of Giants manager Bill Terry. VG condition. 4) c. 1941 Ballantine Beer Lon Warneke/Gus Mancuso Beer Coaster: 4 1/4" diameter coaster featuring the images and some biographical information on St. Louis Cardinals Lon Warneke and Gus Mancuso. VG/EX condition with some edge wear. 5) c. 1930s Beverwyck Beer Coaster: 4 1/4" extra thick beer coaster featuring the likeness of a generic ballplayer swinging a bat billing Beverwyck as the "Best Beer Brewed." VG condition with significant edge wear . Five pieces total.
