The collection includes: 1) 1935 Pittsburgh Pirates Official Scorecard: scored and heavily notated in pencil for a July 14 game against the New York Giants a 4-2 Pirates win. FAIR condition with some tears and corner clips. 2) 1939 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Photo Insert: Attractive insert likely included in a 1939 Pirates scorecard featuring a team photo (including coach Honus Wagner at the lower-right) a prominent Duquesne Brewing Company ad on the reverse. EX condition with minor wear. 3) 1944 Pittsburgh Pirates Official Scorecard: Partially scored (3 innings) game against the New York Giants. Hall of Famers appearing in tne scorecard include Joe Medwick Ernie Lombardi Mel Ott Al Lopez Frankie Frisch and Honus Wagner. EX condition. 4) 1949 Esslinger's Ale Television Scorecard: 12-page generic scorecard published by Esslinger's Ale featuring blank scorecards for 11 games to be filled in with all American and National League team rosters printed on the inside front cover. One game has been scored a July 14 game between the Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals a 1-0 pitcher's duel with a walk-off home run by Del Ennis off Max Lanier with one out in the bottom of the 9th. VG condition with some wear at the spine pencil writing on the back cover and light pencil marks on the front. 5) 1947 Pittsburgh Pirates Official Scorecard and Review: Attractive scorecard that is unfortunately missing the interior scorecard page. The remaining pages are intact and sturdy some mild foxing and light wear evident throughout. 6) 1948 Pittsburgh Pirates Official Scorecard and Review: Scorecard from Game 1 of an August 26 doubleheader against the Phillies an 11-4 Pirates win. Carefully scored in pencil with some stray notations on the interior pagesVG to VG/EX condition with some wear at the spine and edges. Six pieces total.
