I have one to sell!
Large format cardboard advertising display for Iron City Beer picturing a team photo of what would inexplicably become the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates for 1960. The sign measures approximately 33" x 17" and is framed to a finished size of 38" x 20 1/2" features the team photo surrounded by a faux-woodgrain border the catchphrase "Beat 'em Bucs!" superimposed at the bottom of the photo along with the Iron City logo. The names of those included in the photo appear in small type underneath the photo and includes Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente and Bill Mazeroski. The piece presents well but does exhibit some wear and tear including some soiling light creasing and visible surface wear including one pronounced surface abrasion at the top center of the white border. The framing prevents us from examining the reverse or edges though we would anticipate visible wear to both based simply on the visible wear to the image itself. Despite the technical flaws the piece boasts outstanding eye appeal an excellent reminder of the 1960 Pirates' big year.
