Strong pair of real-photo postcards dating to the 1946 Mexican League. The cards picture players from the Mexico City Diablos Rojas and the Puebla Angeles. Attached to the reverse of each postcard is a newspaper clipping that describes the action in the photo an indication that the images used to create the postcards were published in Mexican newspapers. The first pictures major leaguer Mickey Owen in catcher's gear awaiting a throw as Pedro Puges slides in at home with Beto Avila celebrating in the background. The second pictures third baseman named Molinero with Carlos Colas sliding back to the bag. Two strong photos with excellent contrast some pencil writing on the reverse along with the newspaper clippings. Two cards total.
