The E145 Cracker Jack sets of 1914 and 15 are among the most attractive sets ever produced; their sharp images contrasting with their deep red backgrounds remain classic examples of outstanding baseball card art even today. Produced on very thin paper the lightweight cards are susceptible to a great variety of condition flaws not the least of which is staining from the caramel inside a Cracker Jack box. Such staining is particularly prevalent among cards from the 1914 issue. This card representing Hall of Fame catcher Roger Bresnahan is particularly sharp for the issue with solid corners and centering. The card however exhibits the telltale discolorations of staining (although much lighter than many examples) and a slight waviness to the card itself. It is however an outstanding example of a difficult card of one of the game"s greats.Population DataSGC Population: 30 total graded 6 at this level 11 higherPSA Population: 20 total graded 1 at this level 13 higher
