Exceptional issue of Sporting Life featuring the 1904 New York Highlanders on the cover in that team's second season. The cover image includes Hall of Famers Jack Chesbro Willie Keeler and Clark Griffith along with Dave Fultz waho played pro football in 1900 and 1901 and was head football coach at New York Yuniversity in 1904 in addition to playing for the Highlanders. Despite strong display value the technical condition is FAIR with edge wear tears and overall toning and wrinkling throughout. Severl prominent tears traverse vertically near the spine neither of which interfere with the cover image. A very strong piece depicting one of the earlier Yankees teams.
