Exceptional pairing of gold-plated charms manufactured by Dieges & Clust. The charms measure 1 1/4" in height with designs that mirror the rare and desirable Spalding figural trophies one of which is featured in this auction. The pieces were clearly produced as awards each with text embossed into the baseball design on both the front and reverse. Included are: 1) Baseball Batter Charm: EX condition charm "PITTSBURGH PRESS CHAMPIONS 1925" embossed on the front and "CHAMPIONS CRAFTON-INGRAM CHURGH JUNIOR LEAGUE" on the reverse. 2) Baseball Catcher Charm: "PRESS CHAMPIONS 1927" embossed on the front and "PITTSBURGH COAL CO. YOUTH LEAGUE WHITE DIV." embossed on the reverse. Both pieces appear in outstanding condittion well-preserved and clean with little signs of wear. Two charms total.
