Pair of four-card uncut panels from the 1948 Leaf football issue. The panels are well-worn with staining and areas of irregular cuts. Despite this uncut material from the Leaf football issues are quite desirable simply due to the popularity of the issue and the player selection. The first of two panels includes Harry Zaulborski Tex Coulter Frank Reagan and Frank Tcipucka and exhibits a trimmed left edge that encroaches into the color area of the card along with some moderate creasing a significant clip at the bottom right corner. The reverse exhibits some mild staining. The second panel includes George Taliaferro (RC) Fred Davis Paul Christman (RC) and Whitey Wistert (RC) with irrevular cuts entroaching into the background of the Taliaferro and Christman cards and some moderate staining on the reverse along with some surface wear and creasing.
