One of the more desirable cards in the T206 issue the "White Cap" version of Christy Mathewson's well-recognized pitching poses. Perhaps a bit stronger than the assigned grade the card boasts four square corners with light wear at each a clean surface and strong image. The Piedmont reverse is largely clean with some very minor areas of wear visible. An outstanding example of a key Hall of Famer in the hobby's most widely-collected prewar issue.
