Handsome collection of vintage print advertisements for Coca-Cola each featuring an eventual Hall of Famer as a player endorsement each as appeared in a variety of publications around the turn of the century. Each has been professionally matted and framed. The collection includes: 1) Early 1900s illustrated ad framed to 14" x 18 1/2" and depicting a concession salesman swarmed with Coke-drinking fans at a baseball game. Cleveland's Nap Lajoie whose endorsement appears in the body copy looks on from the field. 2) Two-color illustrated ad dating to approximately 1912 framed to a finished size of 14 1/2" x 20" with attractive blue matting featuring photographic images at the bottom of Miller Huggins Eddie Collins Connie Mack Jimmy Callahan and John McGraw. 3) Pair of 1910-era ads featuring Home Run Baker and Joe Tinker attractively matted and framed to a finished size of 15 1/4" x 19 1/4" 4) 1910-era ad featuring John McGraw matted and framed to a finished size of 9 1/4" x 19 1/4". 5) 1910-era ad featuring Grover Cleveland Alexander matted and framed to a finished size of 9 1/4" x 19 1/4". Each of the ads appear in excellent condition though the newspaper-style ads do exhibit signs of discoloration at the edges. Of course the matting and framing prevent us from examining edges and backs for condition issues. Six beautiful advertisements pairing baseball with Coca-Cola in five separate frames.
