NOTE: A scan of the MEARS LOA has now been uploaded to this lot listing. Well-worn but clean and colorful Baltimore Orioles cap worn by slick-fielding shortstop Mark Belanger. One of the best-fielding shortstops of his era (perhaps the best-fielding) Belanger was small in stature as evidenced by this sizze 6 7/8 cap. The cap is clean though significant waviness is evident at the bill and the cap itself has lost some of its shape from wear. Belanger's uniform number 7 has been written inside the bill in marker.
