Attractive pair of 1940s Chicago official scorecards. Includes the following: 1) 1946 Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field Scorecard: Attractive unscored scorecard with pencil notations dating the game to August 29 a 3-2 win over the Brooklyn Dodgers. Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese Leo Durocher and Joe Medwick all appear in the scorecard. Exceptional eye appeal significant discoloration on the interior scorecard page along with pencil notations but no actual game scoring. 2) 1948 Chucago White Sox Comiskey Park Scorecard: Halfheartedly-scored game against the Cleveland Indians that makes the actual game difficult to determine. Hall of Famers listed in the scorecard include Lou Boudreau and Luke Appling; Bob Lemon's name appears handwritten into the scorecard itself. Scorecard page has become detached from the book which appears clean but with the markings of a long ago flattened horizontal fold. Two scorecards total.
