Outstanding New York Yankees scorecard from a game dating to September 16 1923 against the Cleveland Indians. Future Hall of Famer Herb Pennock took the hill for the Yankees who would defeat the Indians and Jim Joe Edwards 3-2. Yankees rightfielder Babe Ruth would go 0-for-3 in the game while Tris Speaker collected two hits for the Indians. Bob Meusel homered for the Yankees in the 6th to put the Yankees ahead for good. The game has been scored in dark ink the scorecard itself remains in outstanding condition with light wear at the corners and a long ago-flattened light fold down the center.
