Issued as part of a six-card set by the Sporting News featuring attractive tinted photos of several of the day's stars the cards are among the more desirable mainstream baseball postcard issues due to player selection and scarcity. This example is a stunner for the grade a beautiful colorized portrait of Ty Cobb graded PR 1 by PSA largely due to issues related to the back with paper loss and remnants from scrapbook removal. The front while worn presents remarkably well with light corner wear and edge chipping being the primary flaws. A tremendous card easily the key to a desirable and attractive issue.
