Stunning card from the highly desirable PC796 issue featuring Hall of Famer Johnny Evers with popular Tiger Germany Schaefer. Graded EX+ 5.5 by SGC this is the highest-graded example known a well-centered specimen with square corners relatively even borders and a clean surface. High-grade examples of any postcard issue are rare but the PC796 issue are particularly so. The set itself is extremely difficult; SGC has graded just 237 examples from the set combined with PSA adding an additional 44. Of those SGC has graded just one card at the EX/MT level with PSA grading three more. Clearly any card from the issue in an EX+ grade is a challenge much less one depicting a Hall of Famer. An exceptional card one of the finest from the issue that you will see.
