Handsome two-page scorecard for the "Rose Festival Football Classic " played at the Multnomah Civic Stadium in Portland OR an outdoor soccer stadium currently called Providence Park home of the Portland Timbers of the MLS and the Portland Thorns FC of the NWSL. On February 3 of 1935 16 000 fans packed the stadium to watch the World Champion New York Giants take on an all-star team of Pacific Coast players. The hometown team beat the champs 9-0 a field goal and a pick six accounting for the scores. The scorecard exhibits wear consistent with being in someone's possession during a football game; light wrinkles throughout as well as a few areas of light staining are evident. One surface abrasion under the "O" in "Rose" has resulted in a spot of paper loss on the cover. Despite the wear the piece presents well an excellent document of the day a team of Pacific Coast players beat the World Champions.
