Strong 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" photo dated 1927 picturing Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig as train conductor and passenger. Ruth looks on conductor's hat on his head examining what appears to be a railroad ticket while a perplexed Gehrig stares at the ticket disembarking the train. The photo appears backed with some sort of white paper some masking agent applied to the lower-left corner behind Ruth's legs. Minor spots of wear are evident as well.
