Tough signature of pitcher Roy WIlkinson who during the 1919 season amassed a 17-15 record with the Columbus Senators of the American Association before joining the White Sox and pitching in four games. Wilkinson was a strong enough pitcher in minor league ball that Kid Gleason pitched in two World Series games a total of 7.1 innings. Wilkinson passed away in 1956 making his signature quite difficult. Applied here in black ballpoint on a lined index card the signature has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA grading NM-MT 8. THe paper exhibits some areas of uneven toning and light foxing though the signature displays very well.
