Game 2 of the 1919 World Series pitted Cincinnati's Slim Sallee against Chicago's Lefty Williams another of the "eight men out." The White Sox players who aside from Eddie Cicotte had yet to receive their payments for fixing the World Series agreed to still move forward. Williams allowed himself just one bad inning giving up three runs in the fourth an RBI single by Edd Roush and a two-run triple by Larry Kopf accounting for the runs. Though Joe Jackson and Buck Weaver would combine for five hits the team couldn't muster enough runs to win it and lost 4-2. Authenticated by PSA the ticket stub exhibits wear throughout along with heavy creasing in areas paper loss at the left edge and edge wear. Still a historically significant piece.
