3" x 5" card signed by 1919 White Sox pitcher Dave Danforth who appeared in 15 games for the team. Danforth was known for throwing "shiners " and after a 1920 rule change banned the pitch his career suffered. The card is relatively clean with mild toning Danforth's signature applied at the bottom in black ballpoint. Some stray pencil marks are evident along the top of the card. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
