Early official scorecard for an August 8 1911 game between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Naps. The game was won by Boston 8-6 with Boston leadoff hitter Harry Hooper going 4-for-4 with four runs scored and multi-hit games from Red Sox Clyde Engle Tris Speaker Larry Gardner and Billy Purtell. For Cleveland Shoeless Joe Jackson went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Nap Lajoie went 2-for-2 with three walks. The scorecard is in GOOD condition well-worn with tiny tears around the edges visible wear to the corners some minor staining and soiling and stray pencil marks outside the scoring area. Still an important early scorecard with outstanding performances by the game's three Hall of Famers plus Shoeless Joe.
