Spectacular high-grade specimen picturing Boston pitcher Ray Collins. Collins had a relatively brief career seven seasons with Boston winning 19 games in 1913 and 20 in 1914 before moving to the bullpen simply because the quality of Boston's starting pitching staff was so strong. Mysteriously Collins' numgers dropped off and after being asked to take a pay cut for 1916 Collins simply retired. A tremendous card issued just after Collins' finest season.
