Scarce pair of signed 1941 Playball cards including: 1) #23 George McQuinn who signed the card in turquoise ink near the bottom of the card. Though the card does exhibit soiling and wear signed cards of McQuinn are particularly scarce since he passed in 1978. 2) Pitcher Jack Knott played with three major league teams between 1933 and 1946 missing three years due to military service including time during the Battle of the Bulge where he was wounded. Knott passed away in 1981 aat 74 years of age. Oddly labeled as "John Henry" by PSA (Knott's first and middle name) the card exhibits corner wear roughly VG condition with Knott's signature applied vertically on the left edge of the card. Two cards total.
