The 1914 "Miracle" braves stunned baseball with their World Series win but the 1915 team finished with a more pedestrian 83-69 record good only for 2nd place in the league. Led but pitcher Dick Rudolph and outfielder Joe Connolly the team could not duplicate the success of the prior season and finished 7 games behind the 90-62 Phillies. This unscored official scorecard was produced for a game against that Phillies team which included future Hall of Famers Dave Bancroft Eppa Rixey and Grover Cleveland Alexander all of whom are listed in the scorecard as are Boston Hall of Famers Johnny Evers and Rabbit Maranville. The scorecard despite being unscored is well-worn a pronounced vertical fold weakening the pages and causing a series of spider creases on each individual page.
