Chuck Connors was a true Renaissance Man playing professional basketball in the late 1940s (he was the first player in NBA history to shatter a glass backboard) Major League Baseball in 1949 and 1951 but was most notably remembered for his role as Lucas McCain in the television series The Rifleman. Connors is pictured here in his Chicago Cubs uniform where he played 66 games in 1951. The actor/athlete signed the photo in black Sharpie at the bottom left of the photo.
