Outstanding 1955 Baltimore Orioles contract for catcher/first baseman Gus Triandos author of a 13-year career largely with Baltimore. Triandos was traded by the New York Yankees in the fall of 1954 as part of enormous multi-player deal that brought Don Larsen and Bob Turley to the Yankees. The contract called for Triandos to earn $7 000 for the 1955 season during which he would bat .277 with 12 home runs and 65 RBI finishing 24th in the MVP voting. The contract has been signed by Triandos and a representative of the Orioles and stamped by Will Harridge's office. An outstanding example of a contract from a Baltimore Orioles favorite LOA from James Spence Authentication.
