Attractive collection of four vintage Detroit Tigers felt pennants. Grouping includes: 1) 1940s red felt pennant with prowling full-bodied Tiger mascot above Briggs Stadium. Ex condition with some light wear at the piping and along the bottom edge. 2) 1950s purple felt pennant with Tiger mascot crading Briggs Stadium in his Tiger arms. EX condition strong appearance and vivid purple felt. 3) 1950s black felt pennant with baserunner catcher and umpire executing a play at the plate in front of the Detroit grandstand. A tiger walks away from the word "Tigers" at the tip. NM condition some wrinkling to the top tassles and otherwise beautiful. 4) 1950s purple and gold felt pennant with leaping Tiger VG/EX to EX condition with some light wear at the piping at the bottom edge. Four beautiful vintage pennants from one of the league's oldest teams.
