Interesting 19th Century Stereoview produced by the London Stereoscopic Company picturing Paul Morphy and Johann Lowenthal. Morphy was considered the greatest chess player of his era. When Morphy was just 12 years old he defeated Hungarian chess master Johann Lowenthal in three games the event depicted on the stereoview. Graded AUTHENTIC by SGC the piece is well-worn and faded staining and writing evident on the mount. Regardless an interesting piece an early chess card depicting one of the legendary players.
