Beautiful 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" team photo of the legendary 1927 New York Yankees by Underwood and Underwood. Extremely attractive the photo appears in EX condition at first glance though a closer inspection reveals a surface abrasion to the right of Lou Gehrig's shoulder. The team is posed in front of the grandstand. The reverse is in outstanding shape a few minor stains evident though nothing distracting. An incredible photo of one of the game's most important teams.
